Ingredients
- 3 small gala/fiji apples, peeled and chopped into cubes
- 1/2 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup gluten free rolled oats
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 F
- Spray an 8 inch round cake/ pie dish
- In a large bowl, mix together chopped apples, frozen berries, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla
- Next mix in almond flour and oats
- Pour mixture into prepared dish and cover with tin foil. Poke a few holes in the tinfoil with a fork
- Bake for 40 minutes
- Remove from oven and take tinfoil off
- Put back in oven and broil for 2-3 minutes (carefully watch so the crisp doesn’t burn)

If you have a nut allergy, you can use whole wheat, spelt, brown rice, oat flour or coconut flour
