Sunflower Seed chocolate chip cookies
The most delicious gluten, nut and dairy free cookie!
Ingredients
· 1 cup organic sunflower seed butter
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
· 1 cup almond flour
· 1 tsp baking soda
· 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips (enjoy life or camino)
· 1 egg
· Optional: 2 scoops unflavoured collagen to boost protein
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F
· Place parchment paper on a baking tray
· Mix together sunflower seed butter, maple syrup, almond flour, baking soda, chocolate chips and collagen if you’re including
· Using a cookie scooper or your hands, take mixture and form into a ball and then flatten slightly on parchment paper
· Repeat this until you have used all the cookie mixture
· Bake for 12- 13 minutes
· * NOTE: when you bake with sunflower seed butter and baking soda- your cookies can turn out green. This is normal!
